Cynthia I. “Candy” Stroman, 76, of Lititz, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Spiros and Maria Pribizecic Kusuplos. Candy was the loving wife of William A. “Bill” Stroman and they observed their 36th wedding anniversary on June 9th. For many years Candy worked for Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster; she also was employed part time in the Garden Department for Stauffers of Kissel Hill, Lititz. She was an active and faithful member of Calvary Church, Lancaster. Candy enjoyed gardening, and traveling in the United States, Europe, and Mexico.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Bill, are two sons: Barry R. Tangert Jr. of Mount Joy, Eric S. husband of Judy A. Tangert of Lititz, a step son, Alan Stroman of Mountville, two grandsons: Eric and Michael Tangert, and six great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Candy’s Memorial Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 7:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Candy’s memory to Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals visit their website: www.aspca.org; or the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
