Cynthia J. "Cindy" Myers

June 16, 1946 — July 16, 2010

Cynthia J. Cindy Myers, 64, of 5 Silver Creek Road, Lititz formerly of Manheim passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy. Born in Lewiston, Maine she was the daughter of the late Alden and Betty Robinson Smith. She was the wife of Harold E. Myers and they celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in June of this year. Cindy worked for eight years as a deli manager at Darrenkamps Mount Joy Market and she also worked at Redners Market, Wyomissing and Stauffers of Kissel Hill, Lititz and Leola. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Manheim. She was also a member of the Red Rose Quilting Guild, Lancaster and the Heritage House Museum of Elizabethtown where she restored quilts. Her interests included quilting, flower gardening and she enjoyed watching Manheim Central High School Sports and the Lancaster Barnstormers. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.



Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Dawn M. wife of Mark Steffy of Lititz, Dean H. husband of Melissa Cunningham Myers of Nashville, TN, Tara L. wife of John Andrew Fahnestock of Manheim; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Angie, Johnnie, Nathaniel, Alex, Emily, and Gabrielle; one great grandson, Nicholas and three brothers, Douglas Smith of Holtwood, Everett husband of Ann Smith of Washington Boro and Franklin husband of Cindy Smith of Perkasie. She was preceded in death by a son, Jon Weirich.



Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square Manheim on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Dennis Andrew officiating. Interment in Witness Park Cemetery, Lititz. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and again at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
