Clara Mae Metzler, 87, of Lititz, died peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Gardens of Stevens. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Carrie Zink Bradley. Clara was the loving wife of the late Richard L. Metzler who died in April of 1994 following 30 years of marriage. Clara worked many years as a Dietary Aide for Moravian Manor, previously, she was employed at the former Chimney Corner Restaurant, Lititz. Clara’s interests included: jig-saw puzzles, word search, and passionately played bingo anytime she could. She loved her family deeply and cherished all the time she could spend with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters: Shirley A. wife of Scott Dietz, Dorothy wife of Sean Deemer, all of Lititz, three sons: Clyde L. Metzler, Ronald E. Metzler both of Manheim, Robert husband of Des Metzler of Quarryville, seven grandchildren: Scott, Allen, Jared, Brad, Connor, Richard, Greyson, seven great grandchildren: Nevin, Trent, Arvid, Brad Jr., Hunter, Shyann, Ryder, a brother, Robert husband of Viola Bradley of Landisville, and four sisters: Arlene Sweigart of Lancaster, Kathryn Gockley of New Holland, Mary wife of Bruce Kreiser of Rheems, and Doris Farst of Manheim. Preceding her in death are two grandchildren: Alisha, Raychel, and two brothers: Ken and Lloyd Bradley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Clara Mae’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing on Friday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Brickerville Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
