Charles M. Eshelman II, 69, a life-long resident of Lititz; beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home following a long illness on Friday, October 31, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Mary E. Walls Eshelman. Charlie was the loving husband of Susan Guyette Eshelman and they celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in September. He was a 1974 graduate of Warwick High School. For over 45 years Charlie was a licensed plumber. It was said by many: “You could not find a better plumber than Charlie, Period.”
Charlie was a member of the Lititz Lions Club, where he served as president and received the Melvin Jones Award, from Lions Club International, for his volunteer work with the Lititz Community. He also served as president of Lititz AMBUCS and participated with the AMBUCS Theater Productions. In more recent years, he enjoyed spending time at home, cheering for the the Phillies and Eagles with his family, especially his grandpuppy, Crosby.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan, is a daughter, Erin G. Eshelman of Lititz, two grandchildren, Mateo C. Chacon of Durango, CO and Landon J. Kerper of Lititz. He is also survived by two brothers, Jere B. Eshelman and Jeffrey W. Eshelman (husband of Brenda), a sister, Joanne Robb, all of Lititz, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Charlie in death is a son, Charles M. Eshelman III. Charlie is finally with his precious son after 28 years.
Services for Charlie will be private and at the convenience of the family.
