Catherine M. McMinn

Catherine M. McMinn, 83, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Fisher Wesch. She was the wife of the late Harry H. McMinn Jr. who died in 2003. She was a cashier at several Weis Markets. A graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Catherine was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church, Manheim and in her earlier years she attended Sacred Heart Church, Lancaster. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. Surviving is a son, James J. McMinn of Landisville; two daughters, Donna M. wife of John R. Schreiner and Cathy A. McMinn both of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Keith and Kevin McMinn, Robert Devlin, Kelly McMillan, Ryan, Bryce and Kyle McMinn; eight great grandchildren, Brandon and Samantha McMinn, Mazzy and Miley McMillan, Vanessa and Brandon Devlin, Noah and Elliot McMinn and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Ellen McMinn of Manheim. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harry J. McMinn and Larry David McMinn; three brothers, John, Richard and Joseph Wesch; three sisters, Mary Wesch, Clara Henry and Rosanna Arbenz. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. Please omit flowers.
