Carolyn A. Hartman

Carolyn A. Hartman, 77, of Lititz; beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Brownsville, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Hazel Collins Shaver. Carolyn was the loving wife of the late George C. Hartman who died in October of 1975. Carolyn worked many years as a cashier for Hess Express. She enjoyed matching her skill with Sudoku Puzzles each day. Carolyn had a deep passion for her family and cherished all the time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters: Tracey McCauley of Lititz, Wanda A. wife of Matthew Rodgers of Ephrata, Cindy Hartman of Lititz, a son, David C. husband of Amber Hartman of Denver, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two brothers: Robert Shaver of Indiana, and Randy Shaver of Ephrata. Preceding her in death are two sisters: Eleanor Shaver, Norma Knable, and four brothers: Steve, Daniel, Keith, and Everett Shaver.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Carolyn’s Funeral Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM with additional viewing on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Salem Heller’s Cemetery, Leola.
