Carol A. "Sus" Krimes

Carol A. “Sus" Krimes, 80, of Rothsville, died peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eleanor Herr Engle. A homemaker, she was the loving wife of the late Harold Krimes who died in May of 2019. Carol had a deep faith; and cared for many friends and family throughout her life. Her family remembers that she enjoyed watching old western movies.

Surviving is a brother, Clarence A. “Butch” Engle Jr. husband of Dianna Engle of Stevens. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband, was a son, H. Gene Krimes. At Carol’s request there will be no services.
