Carol S. Ammon, 74, of Manheim, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center, Columbia. Born in South Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Jane E. Pannebecker Ammon. In June of 1970 Carol graduated from the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. A homemaker; Carol had a wide variety of interests and joys including: watching TV especially “I Love Lucy” episodes, talking on her Video Relay with all her friends, word searches, creating latch hook rugs to give to family and friends, and a soft heart for all cats and dogs. She had a life-long passion for her family that she deeply loved.
Surviving is a daughter, Susan, wife of Rick Evans of Mount Joy, three granddaughters: Katrina, Sabrina, Marissa, three sisters: Vicki L. Bradley, Paula A. wife of Dennis Shelly, Lori wife of Thomas Becker all of Lititz, two brothers: Jim husband of Cheryl Ammon of Elizabethtown, Jeff husband of Judy Ammon, and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a brother-in-law, Richard Bradley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Carol’s Memorial Gathering Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The family encourages everyone attending the service to dress casual. Interment will be in Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill Cemetery.
