Barbara Jo Weaver

Barbara Jo Weaver, 74, of Manheim, passed away at home on Monday, May 4, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Josephine (Herr) Hess. She was the loving wife of Earl E. Weaver. They were married on January 25, 1969. Barbara was a craft stand holder for 45 years at Root’s Country Market, Manheim. Barb enjoyed playing bingo at the VFW with her friends, road trips with her husband included Branson and St Louis anywhere they wanted to run off to for fun. Earl enjoyed camping, so there were yearly family vacations at Elk Neck and Knoebels including a once in a lifetime time Disney in Florida road trip that was done in a 71 Rivera towing a camping supply trailer that dad had built. She also enjoyed attending the Elvis shows with relatives at American Music Theater, that was very much loved, and became a looked forward to event every year.

Besides her craft stand at Root’s, Barb would also set up at local churches and fire halls when they had their Christmas bazaars and enjoyed setting up at the Lititz craft show in the 80's and 90's. What will be missed are her famous deviled eggs that whenever there was a family gathering/party they would be served.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Earl, is a daughter, Missie A. Weaver of Manheim, a son, Matt Weaver of Manheim, a grandchild, Kadence Riley Weaver, a sister, Robin, and a brother, Kyle. She was preceded in death by her parents, older sisters; June and Patsy, and a younger brother, Steven.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
