Albert R. Kephart III

Albert R. “Albie” Kephart III, 32, of Marietta, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. He was the son of Albert R. Kephart II and the late Jill L. (Rote) Kephart.

Albie was a graduate of Donegal High School, class of 2016. Even though his body had failed him, he always had a sharp mind, he was quick and he was witty. Having an eclectic taste for film and television, he enjoyed watching horror movies, Golden Girls, Duck Dynasty, Hallmark Movies and Hallmark Christmas Movies, Bar Rescue, and WWE. He also liked various music artists: Ozzy Osbourne, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, and Home Free. Albie was an honorary member of Marietta Fire Company and Maytown Fire Company.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Jess Herman, partner of Robert Humphries, of Glen Rock, Katie Lefever, partner of Austin Peters, of West Hempfield, a brother, Dustin Elliott, partner of Kathy Phillips, of Middletown, along with his aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Albie is also survived by Jim Ploumis, who was his best friend and honorary big brother, and Dokota, his German Shepherd who spent the days with him and worked at being his service animal.
