Adam Charles Greiner

Adam Charles Greiner, 47, of London U.K. and formerly of Manheim passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Charlie H. and Ada Heistand Greiner of Manheim. He graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1996 and then moved onto Emerson College, Boston, Mass., where he received a BS in Fine Arts and later the University College of London where he received a MS in Psychology. Adam started his career at the St. George’s House in Camden, London, a mental health charity which he managed and then moved onto the British Red Cross where he managed the emotional and psychological support for front line workers in the UK. During his time with the Red Cross, he attended a reception at St. James Palace held by then, Prince Charles who he met. Adam always had a desire for travel, education and helping others. By the age of 30 he had visited every European Country and the moved onto countries in the Middle East, South Africa, Asia and beyond. Adam spent time in Nepal, South Asia, where he lived in a Tibetan Monastery and taught English to young Tibetan Monks and also wrote for Spotlight Magazine. When Adam turned 40, he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and ran in the Athens marathon.

Adam always wanted to grow in knowledge, he took on line courses from Duke University was licensed in hypnotic therapy and was a certified minister with Universal Life Church to mention a few of his achievements. In the UK, he received the prestige title of Baron Adam Charles Greiner. He also enjoyed Kung fu, singing, he sang Amazing Grace to his Mother, and giving to others, especially his family with some very unusual gifts. He was known to have a kind heart, was very compassionate towards others, and ended his conversation with “bless”.

Adams friends in London and France are planting trees and placing plaques on benches in his memory, the British Red Cross has planted an English Oak in memory of Adam.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a loving sister, Amy Greiner of Bainbridge along with Aunts, Uncles and Cousins which Adam loved them all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Adam’s Celebration of Life Drop-In at East Fairview Church, 1187 Fairview Road, Manheim on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Adam’s memory to Lancaster County Children’s Alliance at 430 N. Lime St Lancaster, Pa. 17602.
