William M. "Bill" Clymer

January 27, 1930 — June 14, 2017

William M. “Bill” Clymer, 87, of Dillsburg, died peacefully Wednesday June 14, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran The Village at Gettysburg. He was the husband of the late Gloria B. (Trump) Clymer who died in 2010. Born in Harrisburg he was the son of the late Frank P. Jr. and Fannie E. (Fox) Clymer. Bill was a machinist/Draftsman/Machine Design Engineer before retiring in 1992. As a teenager Bill served with the Navy Reserve, then later enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Germany during with Korean Conflict, and then served with the PA National Guard. Bill was quite the “history” person, and enjoyed genealogy. Bill found out that his six-time great grandfather was an original signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Surviving is a daughter Beverly J. Clymer of Dillsburg, a brother in-law, three sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother Donald Clymer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service for Bill and Gloria, with military honors, at Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill PA, on Saturday June 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
