Our beloved dad, Stephen McDonald, lovingly known as Boppy to his family, died peacefully today - January 16, 2022.
Although his poor old body was worn out, his bright and sharp mind was always intact.
Steve had some education at Slippery Rock college, but the bulk of his wide-ranging knowledge was self-learned. He was a terrific conversationalist, as he was well-versed in so many topics. Some of his family like to joke that before Google, there was Boppy.
Steve was a bibliophile, a great lover of music, an artist, and a caring listener.
Steve was the father of two daughters, a proud grandfather of six. He will be very deeply missed here on Earth by his family and friends, but we would like to believe that he is met by Andrew, Greg, Shawn, Conor, Chris, and some very adoring pets.
We love you, Dad.
