Naomi M. Foesig

Naomi M. Foesig, 94, of Manheim, passed away at Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Rapho Twp., on Monday, September 6, 2010. Born in Derry Twp., Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mattie Eckart Hoffer. Naomi was a member of Rissers Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, canning, and baking.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy wife of Earl Gerhart of Lititz, Dorothy wife of Rufus Merkey of Bernville, nine grandchildren, Dwayne, Shawn, and Robert Foesig, Ralna and Jennie Good, Tara wife of Lester Weik, Trish wife of Jason Walton, and Terri Parry and Christopher Merkey, and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Emanuel Hoffer and four sisters, Ruth Bender, Esther Stokes, Consuela Potteiger and Viola Hoffer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Ginder officiating. Interment will be at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville, PA. There will be a public viewing at Buch Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
