Mildred L. "Millie" Myers
December 30, 1929 — December 1, 2010
Mildred L. Millie Myers, 80, of Ephrata, and formerly of Lancaster, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the York Hospital.
Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Gurtha Powell. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Jay Robert Bob Myers for 37 years who died in February of 2007. Millie was a member of the Millersville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She will be lovingly missed byher six- year-old Maine coon cat, Dakota.
Surviving is a son, Donald Eugene Campbell of Astor, FL., three daughters: Jackie wife of Mike Babineau of Soddy Daisy, TN., Lynne wife of Dan Rager of Sugar Land, TX., Judy Oliver of Forrest Park, GA., a step daughter, Linda Diane wife of Dwayne Sudduth of Manchester, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. Preceding her in death is a granddaughter.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor William C. Willard officiating. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
