Mary M. Strauss

Mary M. Strauss, 97, of Lititz, died peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Hamilton Arms, Lancaster. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Mary Althouse Meck. Mary was the loving wife of the late Warren Strauss who died in 1964. For over 20 years Mary worked as a nurse’s aide for the former Audubon Villa, Lititz. In her early years, Mary was employed at various sewing factories in the Ephrata area. Mary enjoyed books and was a passionate reader her whole life.

Surviving are nieces and nephews and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her three sisters.

At Mary’s request services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Warwick Township.
