Mary Kathryn Todd

Mary Kathryn Todd, 90, of Columbia passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia. Born in Rohrerstown, she was the daughter of the late Abram B. and Mabel Bear Stauffer. She was the loving wife of the late John R. Todd who died in 2008. Mary Kathryn was an active member of Rohrerstown Mennonite Church and was involved with the sewing circle. She enjoyed puzzles, quilting and making comforts for the Mennonite Central Committee. Mary Kathryn loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving is a son, John S. husband of Elaine Shaub Todd of Cross Junction, Virginia, daughter, M. Jane Gerlach of Lancaster, daughter, Shirley Harsh of Mount Joy, son, Steven S. husband of Cathy Harnish Todd of Thomasville and a daughter, Barbara wife of Lawrence Hershey of Columbia, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Mary Ranck of Quarryville.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Rohrerstown Mennonite Church, 601 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the church on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
