Lois M. Boozel

Lois M. Boozel, 84, formerly of South Charlotte Street, Manheim, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Episcopal Home in Shippensburg and went home to be with her Lord after a lengthy illness. Born in Dublin Township, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jennie McMullen Roddey. Lois worked for the former Schick Corporation, Lancaster. She was the loving wife of John R. "Jack" Boozel Jr. who died in 1998. Her interests included: flower gardening, cross word puzzles, and traveling to Shade Gap. Surviving is a son, Frank W. Jr. husband of Betty Jane Evitts Irvin of Shippensburg, two grandsons: Ben husband of Heather Irvin, Justin husband of Jessica Irvin, two great granddaughters: Victoria and Sophia Irvin, and two sisters: Phyllis Fake and Grace Happle both of Manheim. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
