Laura Patricia Garman

Laura Patricia Garman, 60, of Mount Joy, died Thursday, November 17, 2011, at the Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Columbia. She was the wife of Millard E. Garman, and they celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary this past August. Born in Wilmington, DE She was the daughter of the late Joseph Stoops. A homemaker most of her life, Laura did enjoy babysitting for friends, volunteering at the Moose Lodge in Elizabethtown, and making jewelry. Laura attended the First Church of God in Elizabethtown. Surviving in addition to her husband is a niece Shannon Berman. In addition to her father she was preceded in death a daughter Monica Stoops. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Friday November 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in Shenk's Community Cemetery. There will be a public viewing on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
