Kenneth S. Link

Kenneth S. Link, 77, formerly of Pottsville, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim following a lengthy illness. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of Kenneth M. and Grace B. Stellwagon Link. Ken worked for Guers Dairy, Pottsville, as a milk delivery person for many years. He was a well-known PIAA Basketball Referee that officiated basketball games in the greater Schuylkill County area for over 50 years. Ken graduated from Pottsville High School in 1954, and proudly served in the United States Army. His passion was sports, and he enjoyed watching basketball and baseball games. He was also known for his extensive model train collection and his Christmas time train display that he would share with the community.

Surviving are two sisters: Margaret A. Thomas of Manheim, Martha Lyons of Ocala, Florida, and five nieces. Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
