Jerry R. Moore

Jerry R. Moore, 81, of Manheim, and formerly of Augusta, Kansas; died peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Augusta, Kansas, he was the son of the late Reed and Eleanor Mae Bearly Moore. For over 40 years Jerry served with the United States Navy in Washington D.C. Jerry was the loving husband of Virginia Russell Moore and they observed their 57th wedding anniversary in May of this year. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church Manheim. His interests included bowling and traveling. Surviving in addition to his wife, is a brother, Thomas husband of Nancy Moore of Augusta, Kansas and two nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Road, Annville on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10:30 AM. In Lieu of flowers, donations made be sent in Jerry's memory to the American Lung Association 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
