James L. Brewer

James L. Brewer, 74, formerly of Manheim, died on November 8, 2014 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. Born Aug. 25, 1940 in Philadelphia, he was son of the late Edward and Josephine Fox Acker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Manheim V.F.W. Post 5956 and Germania Band Club, Manheim. He had been a volunteer firefighter and worked as a sewer and water plant operator in Manheim Borough before retiring.

Surviving is a son, James L. Brewer and his partner of New Castle, DE. Preceding him in death was a sister, Josephine Pavlichko.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend James’s memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:30 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at 1:00 PM.
