Irene Osipovitch, 89, of Landisville, PA, passed into God’s light on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at home. Born in Perth Amboy, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Bronislau and Frances Zadanski Myslinski. Irene was loved and respected by her daughters: Bernadine “Cookie” wife of Rick Robbins of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., Christine wife of Tim Tomalin of Long Neck, DE., Francine wife of John Lusaitis of Landisville, PA., who lovingly cared for her and with whom she lived; her stepson, George Jr. husband of Paula Osipovitch, stepdaughters: Mary Ann wife of Bob Marietta, Arlene Korba, Georgette Geremonte, Beth wife of Dennis Shaughnessy, grandchildren: Nicholas Suozzo, J.J., fiancé of Tara, Michael partner of Kim, Kaliya Lusaitis, great grandsons: Jackson and William Lusaitis, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a sister, Sophie Martiak, three brothers: Henry, Stanley, and Edward, grandchildren: Jody Suozzo, Debbie Marietta Hreniuk, and Trish Osipovitch.

Irene experienced great joy in cooking for her family and being with her many friends. Her weekly Sunday lunches and holiday meals were so delicious and appreciated. She had a passion for reading, watching game shows and Dancing with the Stars. Her phone conversations with family and friends brightened her days. She started working as a teenager at a hot dog factory, Johansen’s Bakery in Perth Amboy, N. J. and later worked for Montgomery Wards, Alexander’s and Boscov’s Department Stores in Edison, N.J. and then Boscov’s in Lancaster, PA., after raising her three “Dolls” daughters. “Nan’s” loving care of her grandchildren was such a blessing.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, N.J. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Irene’s memory to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
