Ida E. Royer

Ida E. Royer, 98, of Manheim, died peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Lancashire Hall. Born in Carney's Point, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John D. and Sadie H. Pennypacker Shantz. A homemaker, Ida was the loving wife of the late Robert R. Royer who died in 1979. Ida was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim.

Surviving are two daughters: Linda wife of Larry Kulp of Cheyenne, WY., Jane L. wife of David R. Gainer of Lititz, four granddaughters: Stacy Bates, Nicole Colfer, Tammy Connelly, Trudi Kulp and two great granddaughters: Madelynne Bates and Cheyanne Gainer. Preceding her in death was a sister, Marion Gellner.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ida’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.
