Eva V. Ellis

Eva Ellis, 91, formerly of Aldan, PA., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Calvary Fellowship Homes in Lancaster. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Clara Ellis.

Eva loved God and loved to study the Bible. After she moved to Calvary Fellowship Homes in 1993 Eva started taking classes at Lancaster Bible College in their continuing education program. In 2003 at 80 years of age Eva received her Advanced Continuing Education Certificate. She was awarded the Lydia Award which is given to a widow or single woman student who is faithful to the Lord.
For over 50 years Eva worked as a clerk in an insurance office. She enjoyed doing volunteer work at Calvary Fellowship Homes. Eva was a member of Aldan Union Church, Aldan, PA. Eva is survived by some second cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service at the East Brandywine Baptist Cemetery, 999 Horseshoe Pike, Downingtown, PA., on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
