Doris A. Scott Fasig

Doris A. Scott Fasig, 80, formerly of Lancaster, died Thursday February 18, 2010 at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. She was the widow of the late Robert Fasig. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Melvin P. and Ann (Fogie) Martin. Doris was a secretary at the former Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster. She was a graduate of McCaskey High School class of 1948, and was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Lancaster.

Surviving is a son Steven husband of Judy Scott of Stewartstown, PA, a daughter Susan wife of Paul Cary of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren Jennifer and Nicholas Scott and Christopher and Sean Cary; two great grandchildren Matthew and Zachary Cary; and a half-sister Brenda Earle of Florida. In addition to her husband and parents she was receded in death by a brother Melvin, and three sisters Nancy, Arla Mae, and Janet.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Monday February 22, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Margaret L. Rohnacher officiating. Interment will be private. There will be a public viewing on Monday at the Heilig Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
