Dale H. Kreiner

September 6, 1924 — August 9, 2012

Dale H. Kreiner, 87, formerly of Elizabethtown went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Brethren Village. Born in Mount Joy Township, he was the son of the late Herman G. and Maria Hollinger Kreiner. He was the husband of the late Mildred Edris Kreiner who died in 2009. Dale owned and operated his farm in Mount Joy Township for many years. He also worked for over twenty years at J.C. Snavely & Sons, Lancaster. Dale was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren, Manheim where he was active with Men's Chorus for over fifty years. He enjoyed woodworking and watching the Philadelphia Phillies. Dale loved to spend time with his family; especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are three children, Gary husband of Julia Enck Kreiner of Elizabethtown, Bonnie wife of Joseph Faller of Lebanon and Dennis husband of Lynn Herman Kreiner of California, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three sisters, Faye Kreiner of Manheim, Allegra wife of Vernon Leinninger of Denver and Shirley Smith of Manheim. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 6:30 PM. Interment and viewing will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the church immediately following the service. Please omit flowers.
