Betty Worrell

Betty Worrell, 91, of Lititz, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday December 5, 2016 at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Spring Lake NJ, she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Rebecca E. (Hutchison) Worrell. Betty was an accountant/bookkeeper for 26 years at McGraw Hill Companies, Inc., and then was employed by Jersey Central Power & Light Co. for 8 years. She was a member and Sunday School teacher of the 1st Baptist Church at Asbury Park, NJ and was a member of the Pioneer Girls of the church. Betty Studied advertising design at Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. Her other interests included painting, bowling, and roller skating.

Surviving are two brothers Erwin of Neptune City NJ, Robert of Elkton MD, a sister Patricia Newman of Bonita Springs FL; and several nieces and nephews.

As per Betty’s desire, services and interment will be private.
