Arlene M. Witmer

Arlene M. Witmer, 91, of West Earl Twp., died Saturday May 18, 2013 at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster. She was the wife of the late William “Bill” Witmer who died in 1996. Born in Kissler, PA, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Gladys (Arnold) Milligan. Arlene had worked as an assembler at the former Hubley Toy Manufacturing in Lancaster. She was a graduate of the former Mount Joy High School, class of 1940. Arlene enjoyed playing bingo, card games and reading.

Surviving is a son Barry L. husband of Barbara C. Snyder of Brownstown; a step-daughter Linda M. Witmer of Manheim; two granddaughters Angela Buys and Jennifer Roberts; three great-grandchildren Brianna, Ayla, and Evan; and a sister June Smith of Milton, FL. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Christopher Peters, and a brother Harold Milligan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service at Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery, intersection of Kraybill Church Road & Gibble Road, Mount Joy, PA on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
