Arleen A. Barnes

Arleen A. Barnes, 89, of Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim, and formerly of 123 East Ferdinand Street, Manheim, died peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center Lancaster. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ellen Held Connelly. Arleen worked for the former Noggles Garment Factory and previously worked for the former Evans Restaurant all of Manheim. She was the wife of the late Henry Heisey Barnes who died in February of 2001. She enjoyed sewing during her life. Surviving is a daughter, Sandra B. Ruhl of Lititz, two grandchildren: Michael Kent Ruhl, Kendra Anne Russano, four great grandchildren: E. Kent Ruhl, Tyler, Abigail, Trent Russano, and a sister, Margie Nauman of Manheim. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment is in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. Please omit flowers.
