Anna M. Werner

Anna M. Werner, 77, of Columbia, died peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Stella "Daisy" Sites Davis. Anna worked as a cook at the Cat's Meow Restaurant, Manheim. She was the wife of the late Harry W. Werner. Her interests included crocheting, all types of needle work, and cooking. She had a life-long passion for her family and enjoyed spending time with her many children and grandchildren. Surviving are five sons: Harry B. husband of Roberta Tobias Werner of Lititz, Russell W. Werner of Florida, Clifford D. husband of Brenda Wright Werner of Columbia, Richard D. husband of Joan Graby Werner of Manheim, Dale E. husband of Karen Nicholas Werner of Lebanon, four daughters: Daisy M. wife of Brent Thomas Sr. of Lancaster, Dolly M. wife of Dennis Young and Lisa A. wife of Randall S. Kreiser all of Manheim, Ruth "Toot" Werner of Lebanon, 20 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 23 step great grandchildren, and a sister, Ruth Wolfe of Manheim. Preceding her in death is a son, LeRoy Werner, a granddaughter, Shannon, and four brothers: Kenneth, William, Russell, and Clifford Davis. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:30 PM. Internment is in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 PM until the time of the service.
