Anna M. Henry

Anna M. Henry, 90, of Manheim, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community Manheim. Born in Maytown, she was the daughter of the late George and Mamie Knier Conner. Anna was employed at Datcon Instrument Company, East Petersburg. Previously she worked for Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster, and in her early years the former Raymark Industries, Manheim. She was the wife of the late John W. Henry who died in January of 1994. Anna was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Manheim; she also volunteered as a cook for the meals on wheels program for the Manheim area. Her interests included crocheting and camping. Surviving is a son, Donald L. Jr. husband of Nellie A. Shoemaker Graham, a daughter, Linda A. wife of Jerry L. Stehman all of Manheim, two step sons, Earl E. husband of Carole Henry of Lancaster, Harold P. husband of Roxanne Henry of Mount Joy, a step daughter, Connie Hughes of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 15 step great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a grandson, Donald L. Graham, two brothers, James M. and George "Bud" Conner and a sister Dorothy. Services for Anna will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Kreider's Brethren Cemetery, Penn Township.In Lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Anna's memory to the Pleasant View Retirement Community Benevolent Care Endowment Fund 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545.
