Wayne R. Carter Sr.
January 20, 1944 — September 17, 2016
Wayne R. Carter Sr., 72, of Lebanon passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Dorothy Barton Carter. Wayne was the companion of Theresa Y. Scott of Lebanon. He retired as a millwright at Lukens Steel Company, Coatesville. Wayne proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received various medals.
Surviving in addition to his companion are three children, Wayne Carter Jr, Gayla Carter and Waynette Carter, two step-children, Jeffrey Scott Jr. and Rachel Davis, twenty grandchildren, three brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
