Thelma K. Myers, age 91, of Pine Street, East Petersburg, died on Friday, December 3, 2010.
Born in East Hempfield Township on June 11, 1919, Thelma was the daughter of the late John Kready and Bertha Harmen. Thelma was the wife of the late Charles I. Myers who died in March of 2009. She worked as a secretary for the former Stirling Insurance Company, Manheim, Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster, and the Lancaster Transportation Company. Thelma was a member of the Hempfield United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the AARP Choir of Lancaster. She enjoyed music and playing pinochle.
Surviving is a daughter, Chartheleda married to Ken Kauffman, East Petersburg; and a grandson Landis Kauffman of San Francisco, CA.
