Taisa Iwanowski

Taisa Iwanowski, 98, of Mount Joy, died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster. She was born in Poland and moved to this country with her husband Sergiusz and family. Her husband Sergiusz died in 2006. Taisa was a sewer at the former Gerberich-Payne Shoe Factory of Mount Joy.
Surviving are two daughters, Lina Kunkle of Landisville, Marina Delaney of Florida; a grandson Steven husband of Stephanie Kunkle; and two great-granddaughters.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Friday November 12, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. David D. Kreider officiating. Interment will be in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy. There will be a public viewing on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. If desired, contributions in Taisa memory may be sent to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster PA 17602.
