Ronald E. "Ron" Ryan

Ronald E. “Ron” Ryan, 75, of Mount Joy, died peacefully Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Hospice & Sr. and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster he was the son of the late Richard W. Sr. and Viola (Rhinier) Ryan. He was the loving husband of Suzanne (Metzger) Ryan and the celebrated 48 years of marriage last December. Ron worked in autobody preparation for Myers’ Autobody & Service, East Petersburg, for 32 years before retiring in 2016. He attended Calvary Bible church, Mount Joy. Ron enjoyed bowling for over 60 years, and was a member of the Senior Bowling Leagues at Leisure Lanes, and was proud of his “300” game. He also enjoyed golfing.

Surviving in addition to his wife Suzanne, is a daughter Connie, wife of Mark Myers, Bainbridge; two granddaughters Abigail wife of Joseph Campbell, and Courtney Myers; a great-grandson Gabriel; and a sister Shirley wife of Marlin Shelly, Ephrata. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Richard W. Ryan, Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Calvary Bible Church, 629 Union School Road, Mount Joy, on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Please use the Jane Avenue entrance. Interment will be private. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
