Robert E. "Bob" Shaeffer

Robert E. “Bob” Shaeffer, 84, of Manheim, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, February 22, 2016. Born in Washington Borough, he was the son of the late Clarence and Iva Lowe Shaeffer. Bob was the husband of the late Janet Kiehl Shaeffer who died in 2010. He worked for J. L. Clark, Lancaster, as an electrician in the building/maintenance department. Bob served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed watching Philadelphia sport teams and in his earlier years he coached little league football and baseball in the Manheim area.

Surviving is a son, Mark S. Shaeffer, a daughter, Dana L. wife of Jere Haug all of Manheim, four grandchildren: Matthew, Kyla, Ryan, Jordan, a great grandson, Chase, and a brother, Clarence Shaeffer, of Wrightsville. Preceding him in death is a daughter, Dawn E. Shaeffer, four brothers and six sisters.

According to Bob’s wishes there will be no services.
