Patricia A. Becker

Patricia A. “Pat” Becker, 79, of Manheim passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim. Born on January 18, 1938 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Homer C. and Mary I. Long Zong. She was the loving wife of Marlin E. “Skip” Becker Jr., they wed on June 2, 1958 and shared 59 years, 1 month of marriage. Pat enjoyed her cats, baking, cooking and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Jena wife of John Herdwig of East Petersburg, David husband of Anna Becker of Manheim, James Becker of Lancaster and Jennifer Becker of East Petersburg, six grandchildren, Anthony husband of Theresa Doster, Jacob husband of Michelle Doster, Colleenia, Joseph Jr., Andrew, and Rhiannon, five great grandchildren, Neka, Allison, Kylee, Lucas, and Brooklyn, and a brother, Gary husband of Marilyn Zong of Lititz. She was preceded in death by a son, Marlin E. Becker III and a sister, Phyllis Bixler.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Pat’s memory to Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, 3026 Mt. Hope Home Road, Manheim, PA 17545. The family wants to thank the caregivers of Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community for their love and care of Pat throughout the last four years.
