Norma J. Wagner

Norma J. Wagner, 90, formerly of Mount Joy, went home to be with her Lord & Savior Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Masonic Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Rev. William H. Wagner who died in 1999. Born in Findlay, OH, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Hazel (Miller) Weaver. Norma was a faithful member of Mount Joy Church of God, and enjoyed singing, directing church choirs, and playing the piano. Family time was important to Norma as she loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Surviving her children Dan L. Wagner, Fannettsburg, PA; Jerald D. husband of Carolyn Wagner, Venice FL, Jeannie A. wife of Jim Carlisle, and Rev. Nancy L, wife of John D. Boyer, both of Elizabethtown; fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a sister Marveleen Geiger, Findlay OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister Eileen Wolford.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Service at the Mount Joy Church of God, 30 E. Main St., Mount Joy PA on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Norma’s memory may sent to Mount Joy Church of God, “Building Fund”, 30 E. Main St. Mount Joy PA 17552.
