Nancy M. Voris

Nancy M. Voris, 86, formerly of Lancaster, died peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Twin Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center, Palmyra. Born in Millersville she was the daughter of the late, J. Earl and Irene C. Stoner Murry. Nancy was the wife of the late, Robert W. Voris who died January of 2008. She worked as a bookkeeper for Lancaster Leaf Tobacco Company and Armstrong Cork Company. Nancy was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church in Lancaster. She enjoyed knitting personalized Christmas stockings which were given to people throughout the United States. Nancy also enjoyed putting together puzzles of all kinds and was an avid cruise ship traveler to the Caribbean.

Surviving is a daughter, Deborah A. wife of Dennis Vollmar of Mount Gretna, a son, W. Robert husband of Tanya Voris of Lebanon, a granddaughter, Dana Marie Voris and a brother, George husband of Ingrid Murry of Oklahoma. Preceding her in death is a brother, Paul Murry.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
