Nancy L. Bortner

Nancy L. Bortner, 78, of Mount Joy, passed away, Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Conestoga View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster. She was the loving wife of James F. Bortner and they celebrated 54 years of marriage this past March. Born in Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Sally (Elliot) Minnich. Nancy had worked for the Kord King Co., formerly of Mount Joy, now of Lancaster. Nancy enjoyed camping with her family, taking walks, and attending toy shows with her husband and collecting Jeff Gordon Cars.

Surviving in addition to her husband Jim is a daughter Susan wife of Randy Crossland of Mount Joy; a son James F. Jr. husband of Diane Bortner of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia. There will be a public viewing on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
