Miriam G. Haws

Miriam G. Haws, 100, of Robeson Twp., passed away June 20, 2012 at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. She resided there for the past five years. She was the daughter of the late George R. and Gertrude (Seifrit) Haws. Miriam taught Sunday School for many years at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Gibraltar. She served on the Robeson Twp. Board of Elections, the Robeson Twp. Historical Society and was a life member of Bird Chapter 460 of the Eastern Star. Miriam is survived by a nephew Dr. G. Allen Haws of Clarion, PA, and two nieces Ruth Haws Wittich of Narvon, PA, and Mary Ann Wert of Robeson Twp. Friends and family are invited her memorial service at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (Gibraltar), 1035 Old River Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 on Thursday July 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions in Miriam's memory can be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
