Mary M. Brown

Mary M. Brown, 99, of Manheim passed away at home on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Norman S. and Katie George Brown. Mary retired as an inspector after twenty eight years for the former Manheim Belting Co. She also worked at the former Beford Shoe Factory, Lititz and the former Noggles Garment Factory, Manheim. Mary was a ninety year member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. She was also a member of the Manheim Historical Society. Her interests included crocheting, embroidering and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving is a son, Barry L. Brown of Manheim, four grandsons, Galeon, Brian, Kevin and Stuart Brown, eleven great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and a sister, Edna M. Sides of Manheim. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Joanna Brown and a brother, Stanley Brown.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Longenecker’s Brethren Cemetery, Lititz.
