Mary G. Loump

May 15, 1920 — February 4, 2016

Mary G. Loump, 95, of Mount Joy, died peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at her home. Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Suzanna Ginder Fahnestock. Mary was the wife of the late J. Irvin Loump who died in November of 1998. Mary helped on the family farm and also worked with her husband with his backhoe service. She was a member of the White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim. Her interests included: vegetable and flower gardening, sewing and baking.

Surviving is a son, John I. husband of Kathleen M. Loump of Manheim, three daughters: Mary Susan wife of Herman L. Zeager of Bainbridge, Phyllis Loump and Sharon Ruth Loump both of Mount Joy, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two sisters: Mable Diffenderfer of Manheim, and Nettie Krall of Myerstown. Preceding her in death are five brothers: Allen, Monroe, Elmer, Rufus, and Norman Fahnestock, three sisters: Theda Sensenig, Esther and Edith Fahnestock and one great granddaughter.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s funeral service at the White Oak Church of the Brethren, 1211 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM with additional viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM till the time of the service. Interment will be in Graybill’s Brethren Cemetery, Elm.
