Marie Tome

Marie Tome, 80, of Elizabethtown, died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday March 20, 2013. She was the wife of the late Harold Tome and Lloyd Tome. Born in Mount Joy, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan (Dyer) Rider. Marie was a homemaker and greatly enjoyed babysitting for her family and friends. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, embroidery, and reading. Marie was a member of the Palmyra Assembly of God, and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving is a daughter Jane wife of Robert Barnes of Bainbridge; a step-daughter Georgia McVey of Manheim; four grandchildren Jason, Barbara, Tara and Ryan; a great-granddaughter Zoe; two brothers John Rider (Barbara) of Lititz, William Rider (Thelma) of Columbia; and two sisters Dorothy Zechman and Loretta Kreider both of Elizabethtown.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St., Mount Joy on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Camp Hill Cemetery, Mount Joy. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday at the Buch Funeral Home, Mount Joy, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
