Marian G. Wenger

Marian G. Wenger, 79, of Garber Road, Elizabethtown passed away at home on Monday, April 11, 2011. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Fannie Nolt Grove. She was the loving wife of the late J. Melvin Wenger who died in 2010. A homemaker, Marian was an active and faithful member of Bossler Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown where she was involved in small group sessions, ice cream socials and she enjoyed babysitting during bible studies. She was also a member of the 40/60 Group. Marian loved to spend time with her family and help others with laundry and babysitting. Surviving are four sons, Ronald E. husband of Tina M. Wenger of Marietta, Larry L. husband of Donna S. Wenger of Mount Joy, J. Richard Wenger of Elizabethtown and Kenneth D. husband of Teresa Wenger of Middletown; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Bossler Mennonite Church, 2021 Bossler Road, Elizabethtown on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Fred Garber officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
