Marcia C. Hauck

Marcia C. Hauck, 65, of Mount Joy, died Saturday July 22, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center after a battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Allen G. Hauck and they would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on October 28th. Born in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late James and Jeannine (Geedy) Cavanaugh. Marcia worked in the customer service department for Weis Markets in Lancaster before retiring earlier this year. Marcia was an avid Penn State football fan, and also enjoyed camping, bingo, painting, and collecting Koala Bears.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sisters, Patricia wife of Michael Warner, Reinholds; Bonnie Cavanaugh, Mount Joy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Allen G. “A.J.” Hauck, Jr., and two brothers James and Dale Cavanaugh.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy on Friday July 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Mount Joy Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at Buch Funeral Home on Thursday from
6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and also on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marcia’s memory may be sent to Nittany Lion Club, 147 Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, PA 16802-9967.
