Lucy Parks Scott

March 15, 1931 — August 6, 2016

Lucy Parks Scott, 85, of Manheim, died peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Linden Village, Lebanon. Born in Blairs Mills, she was the daughter of the late Dolph and Clarice Diven Parks. Lucy was the loving wife of the late Harold C. Scott who died in April of 2011. For 15 years Lucy was employed at the former Raymark Industries. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim. Her interests included quilting and making bread. Lucy had a life-long passion for her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is a daughter, Judy wife of Francis Gorny of Pittsburgh, two sons: Rodney K. husband of Lynn C. Scott of Manheim, Dean E. Scott of East Stroudsburg, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two sisters: Pauline Hetrick of Hummelstown, Betty Reisinger, of Carlisle, and two brothers: Ralph husband of Barbara Parks of Shade Gap, and Glen Parks of Manheim. Preceding her in death are four brothers: Raymond, Stanley, Samuel, and John Parks.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucy’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.
