Louise C. Adams

September 17, 1916 — July 24, 2016

Louise Zurrell Faust Adams, 99, of Lititz, formerly of Johnstown, PA, died peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Moravian Manor, Lititz. Born in Stamford, CT; she was the daughter of the late Karl and Olga Kruz Zurrell. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Kenneth Adams who died in 1976; and the late Atlee Franklin Faust who died in 1969. Louise was a lifelong volunteer including Johnstown Memorial Hospital, United Cerebral Palsy Association and Moravian Manor. An avid golfer and bridge player, Louise was a life-time member of the Sunnehanna Country Club in Westmont. She was strong of faith, mind and body that served her well in her almost 100 years on earth. She was beautiful, kind, fun-loving and generous. She enriched the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She will be sorely missed.

A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Louise is survived by her son: Peter W. Faust, husband of Carole Ziegler Faust of Lancaster; her grandchildren: Heidi Faust Wells wife of David W. Wells, Britta Faust Burton wife of Sean Burton, Stacey Kmetz, and Eric Kmetz; and her four great grandchildren: Phillip Atlee Wells, Abigail Louise Wells, Samuel David Wells and Bethany Carole Burton. Preceding her in death was her daughter, Karen Kmetz, her son, Gary Steven Faust, her brother, Bernhard Zurrell, and her sister, Florence Zurrell Malmrose.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Louise’s Memorial Service in Steinman Hall at Moravian Manor, 300 West Lemon Street, Lititz, on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Immediately following the memorial service everyone is invited to celebrate Louise’s 100 years of a beautiful life and wonderful memories. The family is inviting everyone to honor Louise that day by wearing something blue, which was her favorite color.
