Lester L. "Les" Weik

Lester L. “Les” Weik, 64, of Lititz, died Thursday, July 19, 2018 at his home. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Troy Bender of Brickerville, and the late Anna Mae Knoll Weik. Les was the husband of Tara A. Gerhart Weik. He worked as a foreman for Melhorn Sales Service & Trucking, Mount Joy. His interests included growing roses, heavy metal rock and roll music, and spending time at the family cabin in Potter County. He was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife, and father, are three daughters: Cara Potts of Elizabethtown, Tabitha Weik and Whitney Weik both of Lititz, a granddaughter, Tegan Potts, five sisters and three brothers. Preceding him in death is a brother Arnold Ray Weik.

Services will be at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM with additional viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville.
